Chicken Steak Grill – The Perfect Appetizer for Your Party

Chicken Steak Grill makes a perfect appetizer for your home parties. With basic marinade, this makes a wonderful party starter or a side dish. You just need a grill pan and a few grilled vegetables and you have a delectable dish ready in no time.

Ingredients for Chicken Steak

  • 2 Chicken Steak (with skin, you could use skinless too) (approx 350 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon Oil for grill pan
  • For the Marination –
    • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika or red chilli powder
    • 3 or 4 crushed garlic cloves
    • 1 teaspoon mixed herbs or your choice
    • 1/2 teaspoon crushed peppercorns
    • 1 teaspoon chilli flakes
    • Juice of 1/2 a sour lime
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 teaspoon brown sugar

How to Grill Chicken Steak

1. Prepare the steaks for marination, wash and pat them dry with a kitchen towel. Feel free to use skinless chicken steaks too.

2. Add the marination ingredients, directly on the chicken steaks and rub well. Let the steaks marinate for at least 30 minutes to an hour.

3. Next, heat a grill pan. Add a teaspoon of olive oil all over the grill pan. Now place the chicken steaks, skin side down on the grill pan, and grill on high heat.

4. Let the steaks grill for 3 to 4 minutes and then flip them over. Reduce the heat and continue grilling on medium heat till done. You will have to flip over the chicken steaks a couple of times before they are completely done.

5. Grill some vegetables of your choice and serve them alongside the grilled chicken steaks.

Notes

  1.  Do not overcook the chicken steaks.
  2.  You could also grill them in an oven or an air fryer.
  3. Adjust marination ingredients to suit your taste.
