Tips to Make Perfect Croquettes
- Do not overpower the croquette mixture with too many spices. Keep the spices to a bare minimum.
- You can also mix all the ingredients of the croquettes into a mixing bowl if you do not want to blend them. Mix them well and then form all the croquettes. Follow the same procedure for beef and mutton too.
- Dipping the croquette in beaten egg, helps the breadcrumbs to adhere thus giving an even golden texture to the croquette.
- After coating the croquettes in breadcrumbs, you could store them in an airtight container and refrigerate them till you need to serve them.
- Fry croquettes in a shallow or deep pan over medium to high heat, flipping until golden.
