How To Make Chicken Breast Cutlets
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Yields: Approx. 5 Cutlets from 1 chicken breast.
Cook the Chicken Breasts.
To ensure that your chicken breasts stay moist and juicy, cook them with salt, ginger-garlic paste and a little water.
Blend all the ingredients.
Once the chicken breasts have cooked allow them to cool and then shred. Take a large mixing bowl and add the shredded chicken. Also add mashed potato, carrot, capsicum, mixed herbs, pepper, salt, egg and mayonnaise. Use your hands to ensure that everything has been mixed together. Now form cutlets/patties as per desired shape and size.
Dip the Cutlets in Beaten Egg and Coat with Breading.
After you form all the cutlets, it’s time to create a dipping mixture. Beat one whole egg with a tablespoon of water until light and fluffy. Add a cup of breadcrumbs in a shallow dish. Then dip each cutlet in the egg mixture and then coat with the breadcrumbs so that both sides are completely covered. Make sure to carefully shake off any excess before moving on to the next step.
Fry Until Crispy and Delicious!
Heat up a non-stick skillet to medium heat and add several tablespoons of the cooking oil. Place the coated chicken breast cutlets in the skillet and cook until both sides are evenly golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through. This should take about 5 to 6 minutes total. Serve hot with your favorite sauces for an easy, delicious meal!
