- 7 - 8 Dried Red Chillies
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds

How to make Mackerel Fish Curry
Pour the masala paste into a vessel and add water to make the required gravy. Wash the blender jar and use the same water.
Now place this vessel on a medium flame and allow the curry to come to a boil. Cover the vessel if you wish.
Once the curry is boiling add in the mackerels and let them cook on a medium flame for 7 to 8 minutes or till done.
When the mackerels are cooked then switch off the flame.
Serve Mackerel Fish Curry with rice or rice rotis.
- Adjust the consistency of the curry by adding more or less water.
- Drop-in a few broken green chillies when the curry is boiling. This is if you like the curry to be a little spicier and it is optional.
- Add a few kokum petals to the curry if you want it to be tangy.
- You could substitute mackerels with any other fish to make this curry.
