A simple recipe of Green Coconut Chutney that you can use for Sandwiches or snack. Easy to prepare with few ingredients that are locally available, this green chutney is a combination of sweet, spicy and tangy taste.

- 1 cup Grated coconut
- 1 cup Fresh coriander leaves
- 6 Green Chillies adjust to suit your spice level
- 1 inch Ginger
- 2 Garlic flakes
- 1 small ball of tamarind
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- ½ tsp Salt
How to make green coconut chutney
Put all the ingredients of the chutney into a blender jar.
Add 2 tbsp water and grind into a coarse paste
Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator or use right away.
- Adjust chillies and sugar to suit your taste.
- Use lemon juice instead of tamarind
- Add only 2 or 3 tbsp water to make the green chutney paste.
- Stays fresh in the refrigerator for a week
