Crispy Fried Chicken Drumsticks

Crispy fried chicken drumsticks, are one of the best-fried chicken starter recipes that you can make at home. Chicken drumsticks are marinated and then deep-fried to get light crispy flavourful appetizer.

Ingredients
  

  • 6-7 Chicken Drumsticks (approx 650 grams)
  • ¾ cup Rice flour
  • Oil for deep frying

For the Marination

  • 2 to 3 tbsp Green paste Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup, green chillies -4, ginger 1", garlic-4 cloves
  • ½ tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • ½ lemon Juice
  • 1 Beaten Egg (whole)
  • ¼ tsp Black Salt
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Pierce all the chicken drumsticks and marinate with ingredients under "Marination". Then allow them to marinate for at least one hour in the refrigerator.
  • After an hour of marination, take about 3/4 cup of rice flour and coat the chicken drumsticks evenly with the flour.
  • Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan. Shake off the excess flour from the chicken drumsticks and immerse them in the hot oil.
  • Fry on a medium to high flame for 6 to 8 minutes turning once or twice after 2 minutes. After approx. 8 minutes you will get perfectly fried Crispy Chicken Drumsticks

Notes

  1. Pierce the drumsticks with a fork.
  2. Marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  3. Deep fry the chicken drumsticks for 6 to 8 minutes to get a crispy outer coat and a perfectly fried chicken.
