Ingredients for Chicken Liver Spicy Recipe
(Serves 3 to 4)
- Chicken Liver – 450 gms
- Onions – 2 medium, chopped
- Tomato – 1 medium, chopped
- Curry Leaves – A few
- Green Chillies – 2 to 3
- Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
- Salt – To taste
- Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
- Oil – 3 to 4 tbsp
🌶️ Dry Spices:
- Red Chilli Powder – 2 tsps (adjust to taste)
- Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
- Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
How To Make Chicken Liver Masala Recipe
- Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onions until light golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies, and curry leaves. Sauté until the raw smell disappears.
- Add chopped tomato. Cook till tomatoes soften.
- Now add all the dry spices: red chilli, turmeric, coriander, and pepper powders. Cook for 1–2 minutes. Add a dash of water to avoid burning of the spices.
- Add the cleaned chicken liver and stir well to coat with the masala.
- Season with salt and cook covered for about 10 to 15 minutes over medium heat or until the liver is tender and the oil separates.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and turn off the heat.
