- 450 gms Chicken Liver cleaned
- 2 medium Onions chopped
- 1 medium Tomato chopped
- Curry Leaves – A few
- 2 - 3 Green Chillies slit
- 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- Salt – To taste
- 3 - 4 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Coriander leaves
🌶️ Dry Spices:
- 2 tsps Red Chilli Powder – 2 tsps adjust to taste
- ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- ½ tsp Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onions until light golden brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies, and curry leaves. Sauté until the raw smell disappears.
Add chopped tomato and cook till tomatoes soften.
Now add all the dry spices: red chilli, turmeric, coriander, and pepper powders. Cook for 1–2 minutes. Add a dash of water to avoid burning of the spices.
Add the cleaned chicken liver and stir well to coat with the masala.
Season with salt and cook covered for about 10 to 15 minutes over medium heat or until the liver is tender and the oil separates.
Garnish with coriander leaves and turn off the heat.
