Ingredients for Beef Curry
Beef – use any cut of your choice, medium boneless or meat on the bone.
Yogurt – Homemade yogurt that is fresh and not too sour is best for any meat preparations. Yogurt acts as a tenderizer apart from giving the curry a rich creamy texture.
Spices -You can use any aromatic and flavourful store-bought Meat Masala that you have with you. Also, add a little red chilli powder to balance the spice level of the curry.
Other ingredients – Onions, ginger-garlic paste, slit green chillies, and turmeric powder. Use any unflavoured vegetable oil for cooking the curry.
Whole spices – Cinnamon stick, cloves, green cardamom, and a bay leaf.

Tips for cooking the Perfect Beef Curry in a Pressure Cooker.
Use a good cut of meat, preferably boneless meat. For this curry, we do not marinate the beef but feel free to marinate it with yogurt and spices.
Modify the quantity of spices as per your taste and preference. If serving to elders or children then you may like to go light on the spices, especially the meat masala and red chilli powder.
When cooking meat, sear it on a high flame for a couple of minutes. This ensures flavorsome meat with the juices intact.
Add water to make the required gravy, depending on what you want to serve it with. We prefer a semi-thick gravy for this beef curry and serve it with steamed rice, pulao, or Rotis.
If you like potatoes in your meat curry then fry them separately and add them to the curry at the end.
