Marinate chicken with salt, yogurt and cumin powder for atleast 30 minutes.
Heat a pan or a kadai and add the oil and butter. Also add the whole spices .
When the spices begin to splutter add the marinated chicken. Cover and cook till the chicken is tender.
After 15 to 20 minutes the chicken should be cooked. Now add in 1/2 cup yogurt, garam masala & nutmeg powder, cardamom powder, pepper powder and 1 cup fresh cream.
Finally, add the mint leaves.
Notes
Adjust the quantity of yogurt and cream to suit your taste.
If you need to make gravy for this recipe, add boiled onion paste after you add the whole spices
