- 500 grams Prawns, washed and deveined
- 3 - 4 Turnips or any vegetables of your choice cut into big pieces
- 1 medium Onion sliced
- 2 tbsps Bottle masala
- 1 cup Fresh coconut ground to a fine paste or coconut milk
- 1 small ball tamarind
- 2 - 3 tbsp Oil
- Salt to taste
In a vessel add 2 - 3 tbsp oil and fry the onion.
Add bottle masala and vegetables and fry for a minute. Add water and let the vegetables cook.
Add the prawns and cook till prawns are done. Add salt to taste.
Add the coconut paste and tamarind juice.
Adjust the consistency of the gravy as required.
