Recipe for French Toast with Cinnamon

A simple and easy French Toast recipe flavoured with cinnamon and vanilla.

- 6 slices Bread
- 2 Whole Eggs
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 tbsp Granulated Sugar
- ½ tsp Vanilla essence or extract
- Butter or Ghee for frying
- Cinnamon powder
- Honey or Maple syrup for drizzle
Combine milk, eggs, granulated sugar and vanilla essence. Whisk well.
Dip the bread slices in the egg & milk mixture on both sides and set aside.
Heat a pan and add butter or ghee.
Now dip the bread slice once again and fry on both the sides till golden.
Sprinkle cinnamon powder on the french toast and also drizzle with honey or maple syrup
Serve with a cup of tea or coffee.
- Do not leave the bread too long in the milk and egg mixture as it will turn soggy.
- Use thick slices of bread, preferably.
- Add sugar or maple syrup to sweeten the milk and egg mixture.
