Boil mutton in a pressure cooker with onion, turmeric powder, whole garam masala, and salt.
In a deep vessel add 4 - 5 tbsp oil/ghee and fry the sliced onions, ginger, garlic and green chillies till onions are brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for a minute.
Now put in the tomatoes and fry till tomatoes are soft.
Add bottle masala or any meat masala and stir fry for a few minutes, taking care not to burn the masala. Add potatoes
Pour in the mutton with stock and cook till potatoes are done. Add sufficient water so as to immerse the Poha, about 1 inch above the mutton.
When potatoes are cooked, add lemon juice and garam masala powder. Put in the washed and drained Poha. Switch off the flame and keep covered for 5 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves.
After 5 minutes fork the Poha and the mutton. Serve hot with lemon wedges and raita.
