How to Make Juicy Pork Chops in Barbecue Sauce

Step 1: Season the Pork Chops

    • First, pat the pork chops dry using a kitchen towel. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

Step 2: Pan-Fry the Pork Chops

    • Next, heat a shallow pan with a small amount of oil. Place the pork chops in the pan and fry on medium heat until they are beautifully browned and cooked through on both sides.

Step 3: Prepare the Barbeque Marinade

    • Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix the barbecue sauce, hot chilli sauce, lemon rind, and black pepper powder. Stir well to combine.

    Step 4: Coat and Finish

    • Spoon the barbecue sauce over the chops and let them simmer gently for a minute or two, allowing the sauce to coat the meat evenly and turn glossy.

    Step 5: Serve Hot

    • Finally, switch off the heat and let the pork chops rest briefly before serving. This helps retain their juiciness.

    Notes

    1. Cooking time will depend on the quality of the pork chops.
    2. Adjust the sauce and seasonings as needed
