Grilling is one of the best ways to cook basa fish fillet. Makes an easy weeknight dinner recipe and gets ready in just 30 minutes

- 1 Basa Fish Fillet, cut into 3 to 4 pieces
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black pepper, crushed
- 1 tbsp Garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Mixed herbs
- ½ Lemon juice
- ½ tsp Paprika or red chilly powder
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Coriander leaves for garnish
Place the basa fish fillet on a cutting board. Using a sharp knife, slice the fillet horizontally so that you end up with two or three equal parts. Repeat with the remaining fillets.
Season the basa fish fillets with mixed herbs, paprika, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt. Also, add the juice of half a lemon. Set aside for a few minutes.
Heat a grill pan over medium heat. Drizzle the pan with oil and butter. Add the fish pieces and cook until golden brown on both sides, 3 to 4 minutes per side.
Remove the fish from the pan and serve immeditely.
- Thaw the frozen basa fish before cooking.
- Do not overcook the fish
- Adjust seasonings to suit your taste
- Serve immediately after grilling.
