How to Make Chicken Cutlets
In a bowl, add the chicken mince and the other ingredients. Squeeze the bread slices and add them to the mince. Mix well.
To give the cutlets a nice and smooth texture, blend the mixture coarsely into a food processor or a mixer jar.
Now transfer this back into the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for the flavors to meld and the cutlets to hold shape.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. You want enough oil to cover the bottom of the skillet.
Once the oil is hot, form the cutlets on the palm of your hands and carefully place them in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the chicken cutlets from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
Serve the chicken cutlets immediately with your favorite meal or with sliced onion rings and lemon.
- Add chillies as per your taste.
- Add bread crumbs if your chicken cutlet mixture is soft or runny.
- You can fry the cutlets immediately without any resting time too.
- Serve hot to enjoy the flavours.
