- 1 cup All purpose flour
- ½ cup Sugar
- 2 whole Eggs
- 4 tbsp Butter
- ½ cup Milk
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- ½ tsp Vanilla essence
Dalgona Coffee Mixture
- 2 tbsp Instant Coffee powder
- 2 tbps Powdered Sugar
- 2-3 tbsp Hot water
How To Make Coffee Cake At Home
In a mixing bowl beat eggs with sugar and vanilla essence till nice and creamy.
Fold in the all-purpose flour along with the baking powder
Melt butter in milk and mix well into the cake batter and pour into a greased loaf tin. Do not over-mix the cake batter
Put 2 - 3 tbsp of the Dalgona Coffee mixture over the cake and swirl it with a fork or a skewer.
Pre-heat your oven to 180°C and bake the cake for 35 minutes.
- Do not add too much of the coffee mixture or your cake will turn out to be a little bitter.
- Add 1/4 tsp salt to the cake batter if using unsalted butter.
- Baking time depends on the temperature of your oven, so please check the cake after 30 minutes and bake accordingly.
- Don't over mix the cake batter.
