Add all the ingredients for the marinade - salt, barbecue sauce, chilli sauce, soy sauce, black pepper powder, and lemon rind. Set aside to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Next add the oil to a frying pan or skillet and allow to heat well. Then add the chicken breast and fry for 5 to 6 minutes on a low to medium flame until it changes colour.
Flip over and cook on low heat till the chicken breasts are almost done. Baste the chicken breast with leftover marinade once or twice. Flip once again if needed and baste again.
Remove from the pan and serve with grilled veggies or mashed potatoes.
