Pork Bafat Curry Recipe with ready Bafat Powder. The Pork curry is delicious with the perfect blend of spices. It can be served with sannas, bread or fugias.

- 1 Kg Pork cut into cubes
- 3 tbsp Pork Bafat Powder (readymade)
- 4 medium Onions cubed
- 20 cloves Garlic, juliennes
- 1 inch Ginger, finely chopped
- 4 Green Chillies, slit
- 2 Bay leaves
- ½ tsp Peppercorns
- 1 inch Cinnamon stick
- 4 Cloves
- ½ cup Tamarind extract (lime size ball of tamarind soaked in ½ cup warm water)
- 3 tbsp Vinegar
- Salt to taste
Wash and cut the pork meat into bite-size cubes.
Place the meat in a deep vessel and add salt, onions, ginger, garlic, green chillies, pork bafat masala powder. Mix well
Place the vessel on a medium heat and add ½ cup water. Cover the vessel and cook till done.
Now add the tamarind extract and vinegar. Simmer for 4 to 5 minutes and switch off the flame.
Serve Pork Bafat Curry with sannas, bread, rice or fugias.
- I used pork (shoulder) boneless. Pork with bones is also fine.
- Add Pork Bafat powder to suit your spice level.
- Adjust tamarind and vinegar as per your taste.
