Red Hot Spicy Mackerels

Spicy and Tangy Mackerel Recipe with basic ingredients.

Marinate Mackerels

Marination

Wash the mackerels and then apply salt and turmeric powder. Set aside for at least 10 minutes before cooking.  

Red Masala Paste

Ingredients

Red Chillies - 08 Garlic - 08 Ginger - 1 inch Cumin - 1 tsp Peppercons - 1 tsp Tamarind - lime-size ball soaked in water.    

Cook Mackerels

Cook the Mackerels

Fry the masala paste and then add the marinate mackerels. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes and then flip over. Cook 3 to 4 minutes on the other side.  

Final Step

Adjust seasonings

Check for seasonings and adjust accordingly. Add 2 to 3 tbsp vinegar and then garnish with coriander leaves.
