Sauteed Cabbage & toasted Coconut

Heat oil add cumin, mustard & chillies

Add onion & fry then add cabbage and saute for 5 minutes

Toast freshly grated coconut & add.

Steps to Saute Cabbage

Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan , add cumin, mustard, curry leaves and dried red chillies. Fry until mustards begin to splutter.

Step I

Add onion and fry till translucent.  Then add the shredded cabbage, salt and saute for 5 minutes only.

Step II

Add a dash of sugar and pepper powder.  Adjust salt to taste and stir fry for a few seconds only.

Step III

Finally add toasted coconut and switch off the heat.  This gives a nice nutty flavour to the sauteed cabbage

Step IV
