Devein and wash the prawns.

Make a masala paste with chillies, ginger, garlic, vinegar and mustard.

Add salt, sugar, oil and cook the prawns in a cup of water till done.

Steps to make Mustard Prawns Recipe

Wash and devein the prawns.  Trim the head and the legs.  Discard the shells if you don't like to keep them.

Step I

Make a paste of red chillies, ginger, garlic, cumin, turmeric and vinegar, adding a little water.

Step II

Add the blended mustard and chilli paste to the prawns.  Also add salt, sugar and cooking oil.

Step III

Add 200 ml water and cook the prawns covered. Cook until done and till the gravy has been reduced.
