Roast 2 cups of chana dal until golden.  Grind it into a powder in your mixier.

Heat a cup of ghee and roast the gram flour.  Roast until it's light brown and gets a sweet aroma.

Transfer the roasted gram flour in to a bowl and add roasted nuts.  Also add powdered sugar & mix well.

Continue to mix the ingredients until you get a pilable dough.  Now you should be able to form the ladoos easily.

Take a small portion of the ladoo mixture and form into a round firm ball.  Place a bit of pistachio or any nut on top of the ladoo.

Fill in Store ladoos in an air tight container at room temperature after they completely cool down.textS

You could also store ladoos in steel containers with tight fitting lids.    Do not refrigerate. These ladoos stay fresh for 10 days at room temperature.
